Does ZOE work? The results of our study | Tim Spector & Sarah Berry
Watch the full episode here: ruclips.net/video/MgwOuCGHgo4/видео.html
We put our reputation to the test in a clinical trial. The findings confirm what 150k+ members already know: ZOE works.
The study is called Measuring Efficacy Through Outcomes of Diet, or METHOD, for short. Our scientists recruited 347 generally healthy people who were representative of the average adult in the United States. They had above-optimal body mass index (BMI) and waist circumference and were aged 41-70.
Jonathan sits down with Dr. Sarah Berry and Professor Tim Spector to ask what the blood and gut microbiome results revealed about the impact of ZOE’s personalised nutrition program compared to generalised dietary...

There seems to be many caveats with the information about coffee, firstly the panel seems pro coffee, any side effects? Acrylamide, sourcing of clean coffees? farming chemicals, molds? The harsh chemicals used to create "caffeine free coffee?, Caffeine side effects I guess we are talking about pure black coffee and what about all the sugar and flavoring industrial chain coffee can add?....Huberman would have been a good addition.

As a step mother it 'kills' me that my partner and his ex 'allow' our 9 year old to eat 95% carbs and always get dessert with every lunch and dinner. They think 'forcing' him to eat a carrot with dinner is a good thing as he munches on burgers and pizza and fish n chipsandnoodles n butter as a foundation. I worry he is being set up for blood sugar issues regardless of his kid metabolism

Eat real food. All the low fat Ansel Keyes cholesterol alarms were based on cherry-picked data. The food pyramid is likely the reason why everyone is sicker & more obese than prior generations. Anything packaged in markets is designed for shelf life, not nutritional value. Avoid.

I have suffered with very intense hot flashes for almost 24 years, from perimenopause to post menopause. Since I have changed my diet to the Zoe recommended diet, lots of variety and fibre, my hot flashes have decreased. Also, I was told last September I had type 2 diabetes. In November 2023, I discovered Zoe and the glucose goddess. From that night on, I changed the order of how I ate and my entire life changed. My blood sugar went from 7 to 6.3 in less than five weeks, and three months later it is now 6. Now if I could just get rid of the hot flashes forever.

Build the gut with boosting fibre and fermented veg and non cow yoghurt and kefir ALL at the same time !!! BUT another use anti-biotics let’s get away from chemicals and drugs ! That way is like processed food surely ??

As a 15 year old, out skiing every winter weekend (1970-ish), I was looking for the ideal food for my packed lunch. I went to the medical and nutritional sections of Inverness Public Library and did a bit of studying. My conclusion was that the humble cheese sandwich was a winner. It had everything I needed to keep my body properly ticking over during a day of hard work in a sub-arctic environment and was robust enough to remain in one piece and edible for half a day. Still doing it and nothing in the intervening 54 years has changed that conclusion and this video seems to back it up.

I’m 76 years old started my first business when I was 19 and expand that into different Enterprises all of which I ran without an executive suite. 50 international flights a year for over 20 years. Left for work at 7 o’clock in the morning and typically got home around 11 o’clock at night. I would then eat some dinner that was left out for me while everybody was already sleeping. I never eat breakfast and only once had lunch which I remember well because when I went back to work after lunch, one of my staff told me that Client come by to make a $40,000 purchase and because I wasn’t there she left for the airport. I decided I was never going to have lunch again if it was gonna cost me $40,000. I still only eat once a day, but frequently skip two or three days without eating. I really can’t understand this idea of having a meal every day and even worse three meals a day. The body doesn’t need that much food. Even working out at the gym doesn’t require more eating. We evolved as hunters gathers. For over 100 thousand years we only ate when we managed to kill something. Once a week sounds more realistic. Get over this idea that you have eat.

I have a family history of colon cancer and stomach issues. It has always been so important to me to take care of my gut and I suffered with IBS-C. After a 60 hour fast to kick start OMAD, I have a bowel movement everyday. I eat a whole food plant based diet and I’m already down 9lbs after loosely following for a week, I’ll be getting more strict and taking more seriously but so far I feel amazing. I wasn’t even overweight to start with so this weight loss is insane, I have of course holding onto some water bloating and a bit of fat but my plan is to get to 110. Highly recommended for anyone considering It gets easier as you go along with!

I never got hot flashes or the typical symptoms. I tried biological hormone pills and if they didn’t work, I could just stop. I’m 43 and they have helped me a-lot in the two months I’ve been on them. I don’t eat foods with preservatives I barely eat out and I do not eat fast food.. and low alcohol consumption. We all pick different journeys, but I had breast implants. I fully removed them almost a year ago. I can tell you they caused a lot of issues in my body and I’m not sure if all of it will recover or not. I’ve also been exposed to mold multiple times and I’m very sensitive to it. Lots of things can disrupt your hormones. I don’t know if taking hormone replacement can work for somebody if they’re living in mold though. Most likely it would be better to have it than not but a lot of the symptoms they talk about are similar to if you have mold in your home or work (or even breast implants or root canals)

My GP advised me to rest the first time I had which was the worst advice and resulted in a severe frozen shoulder which meant I could barely lift my arm. The second time I was better informed so got better treatment and kept exercising. Really interesting to see it now linked as a symptom.

I have been following and listening to Will's videos for a couple of years now and would like to put my experience in the comments. What struck me and impressed me with Will, is his research and scholarship on physio for elder people. I find his explanations and instruction easy to follow and I trust his genuineness and the quality of presentation. I like the length of the videos, the attention to detail is succinct with the necessary precautions given consideration prior to undertaking any exercise. The preparation and visual demonstration are all given with precise attention to detail which certainly works for me in this winning mix of presentation. I also appreciate Will's breadth of theoretical knowledge and its practical application. I have indeed had two excellent local physiotherapists assist me in the past whilst other physio encounters have often left me with sheets of paper which can be difficult to take in and copy the movements. This can quickly be demotivating. I have found Will's 'can do!' enabling style easy to translate with minimal equipment cost where called for and very achievable producing results. I don't think you will be disappointed; there is the essential information and practical patient demonstration across many physio related issues for elders. With sincere appreciation to Will and The Team. Many thanks for making these presentations available alongside your practice work.

The river that runs through your 400m2 of small intestine needs to be the flow of nutrition coming from healthy soils; now more than ever there’s an urgency to grow our food intelligently which means loving our Earth and putting the soils first. In truth this is blatantly intuitive! However we live in a stressful world that is both deceptive and addicting💚🙏🏽
